Embodied Reflections: Movement, Mindfulness & Life-Drawing
Nicola Adilman & Breakfast Bodies
Sun 23rd March 3:30-6pm
Led by Nicola Adilman, Laura Rose Moran-Morris x Breakfast Bodies and Leonie Stierli.
This workshop provides a safe, inclusive space for the FLINTA community to explore identity, body image, and mental health through guided meditation, movement, and life-drawing.
The session will begin with grounding exercises to foster relaxation, followed by movement exploration inspired by somatic practices, encouraging self-expression and embodiment. Participants can pose, draw, or do both, engaging in life-drawing practices led by visual artists, wonderful varieties of visual artists, embracing raw, unfiltered representations of the body.
This workshop promotes self-compassion, confidence, and creative expression. Open to all experience levels, they prioritize accessibility, agency, and inclusivity, allowing participants to engage in ways that feel right for them.
Laura will be facilitating the visual art and life drawing portion and Leonie Stierli will be a dance psychotherapist facilitating that mindfulness section and helping to really hold the space.
