Horacio invites you into a highly physical experience—one that values attention, curiosity, and intensity over technical skill. This workshop challenges each dancer to expand the limits of body imagination and expression, unlocking unexpected possibilities.

The process evolves with the group. Just as technique and style require practice, so does the ability to create and compose through movement. Through collaboration, observation, and transformation, participants learn from one another—exploring, adapting, and discovering together.

Horacio Macuacua
A Mozambican dancer and choreographer is the artistic director of the dance company which bears his name. Horacio Macuacua develops
projects that aim to go beyond established forms. Flexibility of mind and availability to catch the moment translate movement instantly into compositions that are complex and elaborated, displaying depth and playfulness, darkness and light.
