Continuing with our Women’s month series… Meet Continuing with our Women’s month series… Meet Dru…  Dru has been at the heart of the Mill Co. team since 2017 and was  a pillar of strength for the business as it navigated the pandemic and continues to play a pivotal role in our growth and development.  Drucilla Burrell is a freelance art director and photographer based in London. She is the Student-Teacher Edition Lead at Adobe providing art direction for the EMEA Studio. 

She studied architecture, working in museum and exhibition design on graduation. She then moved into the field of Art education, running a private art school before becoming Head of Art and Marketing at The Conservatoire. Freelancing has provided a wide variety of exciting roles including Editor at ArtRabbit, co-curator at By Other Means gallery,  Art Handler at international art fairs and a period working as a Painter Decorator!

Drucilla’s most recent photographic project, ‘Atelier Rococo’ was a collaborative photographic commission for the National Gallery X exploring alternative narratives surrounding traditional portraiture. "In my spare time I write articles on art exploring the history of Female Dandyism and volunteer for the homeless charity Crisis." @atelierococo
