Coming Home: Embodiment Tools for Reconnecting

HANNAH NICHOLS

17th October, 2023

Coming Home is a free workshop series for participants aged 18+ that teaches simple, accessible embodiment tools to participants that can help them recognise signs of dissociation & return to their bodies during or after. It also teaches tools to help participants learn to tap into their bodies to help them set boundaries in every day life. This workshop has been devised by a group of frontline care workers & movement/therapy specialists.

All Coming Home workshops are two hours long, which includes ice-breaker activities, embodiment exercises and sharing circles. Participants will be asked to fill out a short paper survey for evaluation/development purposes at the end of each workshop and will be given paper handouts at the end of each workshop, to remind them of the exercises learned during the workshop for home practice.
